marching festival

so we had a marching festival/competition last night and honestly, we didnt do so well…… we got 2. but oh well this is a good time for us to get better. but it was really fun UTC did there show and it was awesome! plus i had the most amzing ribs eva!

yay dfg’s!

so today we have our first dfg meeting im so excited! What is a DFG you say? well its a good thing your asked, because i know. dfg is actually an acronym for “descipleship family/fellowship groups” its been called both…..so yeah, we eat, talk and do a bible study, its pretty awesome!!! notice how i used 3 explanation points to display my excitement.

random thoughts

so today was quite an eventful day, ive been thinking and talking a lot to some friends about life and desicions (spelling?) we make and how they effect us and our future and also how to be a little more patient. I had like a series of revelations today.

like, in first block we watched a movie and the sub fell asleep right after she was chewing us out about staying awake, and i thought, we need to practice what we preached….especially me.

then, in second block we took a boat load of notes and i learned that writing nonstop for an hour and 20 minutes will give you hand cramps, plus the pen i was writing with kept running out of ink, so had had to learn a bit of patience during that spell of hand cramps, notes, and my inkless pen.

then at lunch i got pizza sauce all over my shirt and got really mad at first, but then i realized its just a stain and that i would be just fine.

in third, we went to the computer lab and did about 50 prblems of “balancing chemical equations” just try it and you’ll catch my drift.

then in fourth (band) i had the biggest musical epiphany of my life of 2008, i finally figured what key my sax is in and understand how it works. so yeah, i think i had a pretty eventful day as far as thinking about stuff, and now its homework time…….oh yeah.
